More thoughts:

Once upon a time I wouldn’t have picked up this book, but the idea of having written prayers is growing on me!

I think if I was given this book when my children were little, I would have placed it in a book holder and used each prayer during the day, maybe over breakfast? I would change it when I remembered, and gradually we’d work our way through the book.

I love how each prayer is only about 20 words, and use language which is simple but not simplistic.

e.g. Q:

Quiet and alone

but you are with me.

I can talk to you.

Fill me with your peace.

And honestly the mice are seriously cute!

This book won’t very likely teach a child the alphabet, but the format is a lovely one to say prayers with young children which are meaningful both to the adult and the child.
