NEW for 2025, this year’s Sticker Advent Calendar has gorgeous collage artwork made by Victoria, with stickers to add which tell the Christmas story. It’s perfect for busy families wanting a simple, fun but meaningful way to explore the Christmas story.

-> The Christmas Story Book

The Christmas Story Book has the Christmas story from the Bible for you to read as you stick on your stickers, along with open-ended questions to help you reflect on the story. The story is taken from the New International Readers Version of the Bible, very similar to NIV but with care taken to make the language accessible to people for whom reading English isn’t easy.

The A4 sticker sheet includes 28 stickers, one for every two or three lines of story, so you can use it each day in Advent, every few days or all in one sitting, adding the stickers relevant to the part of the story you’re reading.

There are 25 stickers that depict the Christmas story, each sticker tells part of the story, allowing everyone to engage with the narrative as the story is read. The last three stickers are for you to think about where you might be in this story and add yourself!

-> How to use it

The calendar is a really fun, easy and meaningful way to enjoy reading the Christmas story together, and you get to choose how to do it in a way which works best for you and you family:

1. Daily: Read one short section of the story and stick one sticker each day. The story sections are really short – it should only take you a minute!
2. Weekly: Read a ‘scene’ at a time, one or two scenes each week (there’s five in total), and stick those stickers on as you read the story. Each ‘scene’ will take about 5 minutes.
3. All in one go: Put the stickers on as you go – this will take about half an hour, and is a really fun way to share the story together.

Please note that Jesus is ‘born’ on December 14 and then is visited by the shepherds and wise men – with an additional sticker for December 25th showing Jesus as a toddler, as many scholars estimate he would have been by the time the wise men arrived.
